WHY WATER COOLING?

Water cooling is effective, because of its density, it’s a better heat carrier than air. Water cooling (or liquid cooling) is the only cooling solution that allows successful heat removal from critical spots in the PC with minimal noise!

 

I’M INTERESTED, BUT IS IT WORTH IT?

It’s a good question to ask, after all – you love your system and water cooling would can be a big investment. It comes down to how much value you want to get out of your hardware in your PC overall, water cooling is the optimal way to cool your system.

 

HOW ABOUT SAFETY?

We sometimes hear beginners’ concerns about the safety of using a liquid cooler in a computer. Water spills and leaks can occur, but components today are much more reliable than they were 15 years ago when everything was more or less DIY. Using high-quality cooling components and following the instructions and good practices prevents these issues during setup and use. Once liquid cooling is installed and tested, you can run your computer as you typically would. Routine maintenance of the loop is recommended

 

WARRANTY

Most of the water cooling manufacturers either provide a 1 year warranty or less, BYKSKI offers a market-leading 2 year warranty unless specified otherwise, to show how confident we are in the quality of our products.

GAMING – FPS IMPROVEMENTS

We benchmarked a number of triple A titles that many gamers want to achieve the best possible settings in.

However, the title we want to highlight is Apex Legends. At a glance one can see an average increase in 9 FPS versus air cooled.

Additionally, the 1% low frame drops (which users experience) has a whopping 27 FPS difference!

GAMING – TEMP IMPROVEMENTS

The most significant of these statistics is the difference in GPU temperatures due to the nature of how a video game utilizes the GPU.

Both idle temps are very similar, but when we look at the GPU under load, we see a massive 19° difference.

To ensure best possible temperatures under liquid cooling, you need to ensure proper contact with the GPU die, VRMs, and memory modules to the GPU water block when installing.

Great overclocking Potential

When overclocking, we’re increasing the multiplier on the CPU, allowing it to run faster. The higher we clock the CPU, the higher voltage the CPU will require, which will thus produce more heat.

By utilizing water cooling, you can be rest assured that the increased heat output is constantly and efficiently removed by the CPU waterblock and liquid flowing through it.

Water blocks are used to transfer heat from the source, either from CPU or GPU, into the liquid that flows through the loop.

The main function of the radiator is to cool the liquid in the loop. The fins in the radiator absorb heat cool the liquid down.

A reservoir is used to hold additional coolant in a loop to allow for air to slowly be replaced by coolant as it circulates.
